Minister: Over 40 bodies of Artsakh blast victims identified
The bodies of more than 40 people killed in September’s fuel depot explosion in Artsakh have been identified so far, Armenia’s Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan told reporters on Wednesday.
She said the identification of the blast victims’ bodies was underway.
As many as 150 people injured in the explosion remain hospitalized in Armenia, while 19 victims are undergoing treatment abroad, Avanesyan said.
"A certain positive dynamics has been observed, which is extremely pleasing. In fact, treatment of burns takes quite a long time," the minister added.
Speaking about the medical assistance provided to forcibly displaced people from Artsakh, Avanesyan noted that they had access to free hospital care.
