Pashinyan: Armenia hopes for peace deal with Azerbaijan soon
Armenia hopes to sign a peace agreement with Azerbaijan in the coming months and establish diplomatic relations with it, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Thursday.
"We are currently working on the draft agreement on peace and the normalisation of relations with Azerbaijan, and I hope this process will successfully conclude in the coming months," Pashinyan said at an international economic forum in the Georgian capital Tbilisi.
He also said that Armenia hopes to open its border with Turkey to citizens of third countries and holders of diplomatic passports in the near future.
