At least 64 reported dead during Artsakh exodus
At least 64 people died during last month’s mass exodus of Artsakh’s (Nagorno-Karabakh) population in the wake of a large-scale military offensive by Azerbaijan, Armenian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Ani Badalyan said on Monday, citing data from the Investigative Committee.
“[The] Investigative Committee of Armenia published data on numbers of killed & wounded, among them civilians, including children, as result of large-scale military attack by Azerbaijan against Nagorno-Karabakh on September 19. 14 individuals were tortured & 64 died on the move from NK,” she said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
