Artsakh ombudsman calls out int'l community for failure to prevent genocides
Artsakh’s Human Rights Defender Gegham Stepanyan has called out the international community for failure to prevent genocides, including the one committed by Azerbaijan in his country.
"On Dec 12, I was attending the Forum Against the Crime of Genocide when I received the news of the blockade," he said in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Tuesday.
"After 10 hellish months Artsakh was genocided by Azerbaijan. Who needs those forums & lengthy speeches if the international community always fails to prevent genocides?" Stepanyan added.
