'I really miss my school, my friends', says refugee child from Artsakh
Eleven-year-old Gor is one of thousands of children who fled their homes in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) in the wake of the mid-September Azerbaijani attack and are now living as refugees in Armenia.
“I really miss my school there [Nagorno-Karabakh], my friends, music school, and teachers,” Gor says in a UNICEF Armenia report shared by Armenian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Ani Badalyan on X on Tuesday.
He carried his clarinet with him, the sole memento from his former musical school.
"We had lost our home already 3 times.” says Gor’s mother, Shushanik.
