Video shows arrest of former Armenian official's son
A video released by the Armenian police shows the arrest of former Syunik Governor Surik Khachatryan’s (nicknamed Liska) fugitive son.
Tigran Khachatryan was found in the shelter of his mansion in Yerevan on Thursday.
He is accused of shooting and injuring a man in the town of Goris in June this year.
Tigran Khachatryan has a long history of violent conduct, which involved the murder of a man in 2013. He was arrested but cleared of murder charges and released two months later. Law-enforcement authorities said the shooting constituted self-defense.
