Artsakh ombudsman accuses European Commission chief of 'hypocrisy'
Artsakh’s Human Rights Defender Gegham Stepanyan has accused European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen of “hypocrisy” over a gas deal with Azerbaijan.
“Yes, people can be such hypocritical,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, sharing photos of the European Commission head laying flowers at Berlin's Holocaust Memorial on November 9 and signing an agreement on doubling exports of Azeri gas to the EU with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
