Levon Kocharyan blames Armenian authorities for loss of Artsakh
Former Armenian President Robert Kocharyan’s son, Levon Kocharyan, who was sworn in as the opposition Hayastan bloc’s new MP on Tuesday, has blamed Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s government for the loss of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
“All this was a consequence of wrong decisions consistently made after the [2020] war. In my opinion, the Armenian authorities are primarily responsible for it," he told reporters in the parliament.
Meanwhile, Kocharyan insisted on the retention of Artsakh’s subjectivity to give it a chance of survival despite its violent seizure by Azerbaijan in mid-September.
