Artsakh issue not resolved, MP insists
Representatives of all five factions in the Artsakh Republic’s National Assembly gathered at the Artsakh Representation in Yerevan on Saturday to discuss the upcoming activities, including plans to hold a parliament sitting in the near future.
"Naturally, we are not sitting idly by. All this time we tried to organize meetings, but they could not be arranged for a long time because the deputies were in different places,” Metakse Hakobyan, secretary of the Justice faction, told Panorama.am.
She noted that all the MPs eventually gathered together to discuss the upcoming plans.
"We must not allow the Artsakh issue to be closed. We were not the ones who created this issue, so we have no right to make such a decision," Hakobyan explained.
The MP unveiled their decision to hold a working meeting between the heads of the Artsakh parliament's factions and standing committees to outline their further steps
Hakobyan also said that the process of setting up public organizations was underway and promised to make a statement soon.
