European Chess Championship: Armenia play out draws in 6th round
In the 6th round of the European Team Chess Championship, the Armenian men's national team drew with the Serbian team, while the women's national team drew with the Greek team.
In the men's championship, GM Shant Sargsyan won. The games of GM Gabriel Sargissian and GM Samvel Ter-Sahakyan ended in a draw, and GM Haik Martirosyan lost, the Armenian Chess Federation reported on Saturday.
In the women's championship, WGM Maria Gevorgyan won. The games of WIM Mariam Mkrtchyan and GM Elina Danielian ended in a draw, and IM Lilit Mkrtchian lost.
Three rounds before the end of the championship, the men's team is in the 8th place, and the women's team is in the 10th place.
In the 7th round, the Armenian men's team will face the Hungarian team, while the women's team will play against the Estonian team.
