Aliyev says 'no longer any obstacles' to signing peace deal with Armenia
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev says there are no longer any obstacles to signing a peace treaty with Armenia.
"There are no longer any obstacles to signing a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia," Azerbaijani media quoted Aliyev as saying at a meeting with UK Minister for Europe Leo Docherty on Wednesday.
He claimed that Azerbaijan "supports" the regional peace agenda and stands ready for a dialogue with Armenia to sign a peace treaty and normalize relations between the two countries.
