Candidates for FFA president named
Two candidates are running for president of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA).
They include incumbent FFA President Armen Melikbekyan and retired footballer Aras Ozbiliz, Sputnik Armenia reported on Friday.
Earlier reports suggested that former FFA head Artur Vanetsyan would run again for the presidency. The candidacy of FC Pyunik CEO Kim Arakelyan, a relative of Armenian parliament speaker Alen Simonyan, was also considered.
The elections of the FFA president are scheduled for December 23.
