More people to testify in 2020 war probe in late November, says senior MP
Pro-government MP Andranik Kocharyan, chair of the Armenian National Assembly Standing Committee on Defense and Security, hailed Artsakh President Samvel Shahramanyan’s “sincere” testimony before the parliament commission probing the 2020 Artsakh war.
“I can say that Mr. Shahramanian was completely honest,” he told reporters on Friday.
Kocharyan said various issues, including the deadly fuel depot blast near Stepananakert, were discussed at the commission hearings.
Also, he announced that two other persons were to appear before the commission on 27 and 29 November, without elaborating further.
Former Artsakh army commander Jalal Harutyunyan could testify at the hearings before December 3, the MP added.
