Unknown men smashed Artsakh karate champion's car window, stole his money
Unknown persons shattered the window of a car owned by Artur Arushanyan, a multiple Kyokushin Karate champion from Artsakh, and stole all cash in it.
The incident happened last night.
"In the evening I parked the car in the yard, my spouse left money in the glove compartment. In the morning, while taking the child to kindergarten, we saw that unknown people had broken the rear side window of the car and opened the door. They had turned everything in the car upside down and stolen 300,000 drams in cash from the wallet. These were the savings of my wife during her work in Artsakh," Arushanyan told Panorama.am.
The Artsakh champion reported the incident to the police and appropriate measures were taken.
"The police said that such cases had become more frequent. But they did not specify whether it concerned only Artsakh residents or everyone else. In most cases the criminals aren’t caught," he added.
Arushanyan noted that he often came across similar cases on social media.
"There is a future! [referring to the election campaign slogan of the ruling Civil Contract party]. Thank you for stealing the last money I had,” he wrote on Facebook earlier.
