Classical and modern Armenian films to screen at Tbilisi Int'l Film Festival
The 24th Tbilisi International Film Festival is underway, and the National Cinema Center of Armenia has received an official invitation to participate. Throughout this week-long cultural film event, screenings of the finest international and Georgian films of recent years will take place, the National Cinema Center reported.
Armenia's participation this year is notably extensive. On the occasion of the 100-year jubilee of Armenian cinema, Armenia will be in the spotlight thanks to the negotiations of the Tbilisi International Film Festival and the National Cinema Center of Armenia.
From November 26 to December 3, Armenia is coming up with a program of classical and modern Armenian films, featuring a total of 11 films.
An industry platform has been planned as part of the film festival, with the participation of 14 producers and film directors from Armenia with 7 feature-length feature and documentary film projects. The participants will go through intensive training in areas such as project presentation and co-production opportunities, they will also have individual meetings with film professionals attending the festival.
