Artsakh issue remains unresolved, claims ex-security chief
The Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) issue has not been resolved, Samvel Babayan, former secretary of the Artsakh Security Council and army commander, insisted on Wednesday.
He arrived at the Armenian National Assembly to testify before the commission probing the 2020 war in Nagorno-Karabakh.
“They invited me and I agreed to attend [the hearings] to answer their questions,” Babayan told reporters, adding he was ready to address all issues of concern.
Earlier, the former official lambasted the Artsakh authorities for its surrender to Azerbaijan.
