Opposition MP slams Armenian leaders for Artsakh remarks
Opposition Hayastan bloc MP Ishkhan Saghatelyan has lambasted the Armenian authorities for their statements on Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
"After the genocide of Artsakh Armenians, exodus of Armenians from Artsakh by joint efforts with [Azerbaijani President] Aliyev, the trio of genocide accomplices (Nikol Pashinyan, Vahagn Khachaturyan, Alen Simonyan) took up the cause of closing the Artsakh issue," Saghatelyan, the ARF Armenia chair, wrote on Facebook on Wednesday.
"According to the trio of traitors, the Artsakh issue is closed, while the functioning of Artsakh’s state institutions poses a threat to Armenia’s security. This is, of course, the official point of view of Turkey and Azerbaijan, which is voiced in Armenia by their unofficial representatives.
“The trio of criminals makes it clear that Turkey and Azerbaijan should no longer be considered as a threat to Armenia's security and call for peaceful coexistence,” he said.
Saghatelyan stressed the three leaders and the forces supporting them remain Armenia’s “top security threat”.
