Stepantsminda-Larsi road closed to trucks
The Rescue Service has warned drivers of a closed road in Armenia as of Wednesday morning.
In particular, the road linking the Amberd high mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province is shut down.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi highway connecting Armenia and Russia via Georgia is closed to trucks.
Drivers are urged to switch to winter tires.
