Iran seizes two ships allegedly smuggling fuel
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy said on Wednesday it seized two foreign ships that were allegedly smuggling fuel, TeleTrader reported.
According to the Tasnim News Agency, the IRGC said the ships carried around 4.5 million liters of fuel and were seized in the Persian Gulf.
Commander of the 5th region of the IRGC navy forces Brigadier General Ali Azmaei stated that each of the ships carried approximately 2.3 million liters of smuggled fuel and noted the two vessels had a total of 34 crew members.
