Minister reveals when Snoop Dogg's Yerevan show will take place
The postponed concert of American rapper Snoop Dogg in Yerevan will take place next year, Armenian Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan told journalists on Thursday in response to a question whether the event worth 2.3 billion drams will finally take place.
She said negotiations on the concert dates were underway. The concert may take place in May or June, but the final dates will be announced after the negotiations are completed.
In response to a question whether her ministry considers the rapper's concert a cultural event, Zhanna Andreasyan said: "I have repatedly answered this question and I think that at some point these talks have to stop.”
Snoop Dogg’s Yerevan concert was originally slated for September 23.
