Armenia FM agrees to talks with Azeri counterpart in Washington
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan on Thursday received Louis Bono, U.S. Senior Adviser for Caucasus Negotiations and Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group.
The interlocutors touched upon topics of regional security and stability, the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.
"The recent developments in the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the positions of the sides on the draft peace treaty were discussed. The Armenian side responded positively to the offer of the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to organize the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington," it said in a statement.
