Aras Ozbiliz vows efforts to develop Armenian football
Aras Ozbiliz, a former winger of the Armenian national football team who is currently running for president of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA), has pledged every effort to enhance football in the country.
"I know it will be difficult, but I think I have a very good chance. I feel the support of the Armenian football community,” he told a news conference in Yerevan on Monday.
Ozbiliz says he is running for FFA president because of his belief that he can bring big benefits to Armenian football.
"I will do my best to make sure that footballers like Henrikh Mkhitaryan play in the national team until their retirement. I will be the first to welcome Henrikh Mkhitaryan's return to the Armenian national team, but if you are going to elect me only for Henrikh's comeback, you better not Our common goal should be the development of Armenian football rather than Henrikh Mkhitaryan's return," he emphasized.
During the press conference, Ozbiliz also unveiled his vision for the development of Armenian football.
