Armenian, French FMs discuss regional security
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Catherine Colonna in Brussels on Monday.
The ministers discussed issues of the Armenian-French bilateral agenda and practical cooperation in various fields, the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.
"Both sides emphasized the willingness and commitment to close collaboration towards deepening the Armenia-EU partnership and implementation of envisaged programs," the ministry said in a readout.
The interlocutors discussed issues on regional security and stability as well as touched upon the existing challenges for establishing peace in the South Caucasus. Ararat Mirzoyan briefed Catherine Colonna on the latest developments in the normalization process of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations," reads the statement.
They also discussed cooperation in international platforms.
