'Visions of Communism's Demise': Pashinyan, wife attend exhibition in Gyumri
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his spouse Anna Hakobyan on Saturday visited the Sergey Merkurov House-Museum in Gyumri to attend the solo exhibition Visions of Communism’s Demise by artist Karen Ohanyan.
The exhibition runs until the end of January 2024 and features 12 works in the genres of landscape and still life.
“These two traditional genres have received an unexpected, innovative and impressive interpretation in Karen Ohanyan’s new series,” the Armenian prime minister’s office said in a press release.
“In his works, he expresses himself about the demise of communism and war sometimes directly and sometimes through impressive artistic symbols and metaphors,” it added.
