No date yet for Putin's visit to Turkey – Kremlin
The date for Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Turkey has not yet been agreed upon, work continues, TASS reported, citing Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
"So far, no. It [the visit] is on the agenda. We maintain contact with our Turkish partners, but the exact date has not yet been agreed upon. This is a matter of coordinating the two president’s schedules," he said on the sidelines of the ruling United Russia party’s congress on Sunday.
He recalled that Putin had confirmed his readiness to visit Turkey. "As soon as a possibility presents itself, he will do this. Now, however, the focus will be rather on domestic processes," Peskov added.
