Armenian MP: Turkey ramps up talks about 'Zangezur corridor'
Turkey has again ramped up talks about the so-called "Zangezur corridor" through Armenia’s Syunik Province with reference to various regional projects, opposition MP Tigran Abrahamyan says.
According to him, these statements give an impression that the “corridor will be opened regardless of Armenia's will.”
"It’s clear that the one at the helm of state only stands resolute in the crackdown on his opponents inside the country, but constantly kneels down and makes concessions to Azerbaijan and Turkey,” Abrahamyan, secretary of the opposition Pativ Unem faction, wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.
“However, it remains unclear whether Pashinyan and the Turkish-Azerbaijani tandem have come to an agreement on the corridor/route or whether Turkey seeks to resolve the issue by force,” he added.
