Armenian FM, CSTO chief discuss regional situation
Armenian Foreign Minister Arart Mirzoyan on Thursday met with Secretary-General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Imangali Tasmagambetov who had arrived in Yerevan earlier.
The CSTO head briefed Armenia’s top diplomat on the decisions taken at the recent CSTO summit held in Minsk in November and skipped by Armenia, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
“Arart Mirzoyan and Imangali Tasmagambetov exchanged views on the situation in the region, as well as projects aimed at the development of transport and economic interconnectivity, including the “Crossroads of Peace” concept proposed by the Armenian government,” reads the statement.
