Armen Melikbekyan regains FFA presidency
Armen Melikbekyan gas been re-elected as President of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA). His candidacy was backed by 20 members of the FFA Executive Committee in the elections held on Saturday.
His sole contender, former Armenian national team midfielder Aras Ozbiliz, gained three votes.
Melikbekyan has led the Armenian Football Federation since December 2018.
"There were three votes against. I’d like to say that FFA always stands ready to cooperate with all clubs to observe the principle of equality," Melikbekyan said.
He thanked Aras Ozbiliz, as well as all those who made critical remarks about his activity, indicating that it was very useful.
