Pashinyan, Aliyev to meet for first time since Azerbaijan's takeover of Artsakh
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will meet for the first time since Azerbaijan’s seizure of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) in September.
The meeting is scheduled to be held on the sidelines of the informal CIS summit in St. Petersburg on Tuesday, December 26, RIA Novosti reported.
Yerevan and Baku have not yet announced plans to hold a bilateral meeting in the margins of the event.
Pashinyan started a two-day working visit to St. Petersburg earlier on Monday, his office reported.
Pashinyan and Aliyev last met in Brussels on July 15, which was their fifth meeting in 2023.
