Minister: Armenia making intense efforts to preserve Artsakh's cultural heritage
Armenia is making intense efforts to preserve the cultural heritage of Azerbaijani-held Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan said on Wednesday.
“We have drawn up a comprehensive action plan together with our colleagues from the Foreign Ministry to protect the cultural heritage in Nagorno-Karabakh,” she told a news conference.
Andreasyan said that the material and intangible cultural heritage left in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh had been inventoried and a complete database had been created.
"We also register the cases of vandalism and intensively share them with our international partners. Also, electronic databases and websites are being launched to make it all clear and visible," the minister added.
