Armenian MP: Azerbaijan proves it was never about Artsakh
The Milli Majlis (parliament) of Azerbaijan on Tuesday adopted a statement on the return of the so-called Western Azerbaijanis to “their historical homeland”, referring to present-day Armenia, Armenian opposition MP Kristine Vardanyan said, adding it reflected Azerbaijan’s policy goals.
In a social media post, the deputy who represents the opposition Hayastan faction accused Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his team of “professionals” of failure to counter Azerbaijan’s ambitions.
“We have to realize that Azerbaijan’s all actions confirm it was never about Artsakh,” the MP wrote.
“They have to show at least some respect for their colleague, Pashinyan, who has done them a great service, and refrain from blatantly exposing the hollowness of the so-called "era of peace" concept,” she added.
