Marianna Mkhitaryan quits as head of Russian Drama Theater
Marianna Mkhitaryan has announced her decision to step down as director of Yerevan’s Russian Drama Theater after Konstantin Stanislavski.
“I have decided to resign as the theater director before my term expires,” she said in a social media post on Friday, thanking all her colleagues for joint work.
“I wish the next director productive work,” Mkhitaryan added.
She took over as director of the Russian Drama Theater in January 2020.
Mkhitaryan promised to unveil the reason for her resignation later when contacted by Panorama.am.
