Pashinyan mispronounced new minister's surname at cabinet meeting
At a cabinet meeting on Thursday, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan thanked Urban Development Committee Chairman Armen Ghularyan and Governor of Lori Province Aram Khachatryan for their work after their dismissal.
Pashinyan noted that before the cabinet meeting he had met with the officials and wished them success in their future activities.
Separately, the premier said that Mkhitar Hayrapetyan attended an Armenian government meeting for the first time in his capacity as minister of high-tech industry.
"I wish success to Mr. Mkhitaryan," he said, using a wrong surname.
Those present corrected Pashinyan after he had a slip of the tongue.
