218 killed, 21 missing after Artsakh fuel depot blast
A total of 218 people, including two police officers, were confirmed dead in the September 25 explosion and fire at a fuel depot in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), the Armenian Investigative Committee head said.
21 Artsakh Armenians remain unaccounted for and three blast victims have not yet been identified, Investigative Committee Chairman Argishti Kyaramyan told the Public TV Company on Thursday.
As many as 120 people were injured in the explosion, he added.
The deadly explosion outside Stepanakert occurred as tens of thousands of people fled to Armenia following Azerbaijan's military offensive and seizure of Artsakh.
