Armenian education minister denies being tasked to 'check' shower head price
Armenian Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan claims Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has not tasked her to “check” the price of a shower head during their recent visit to a newly renovated school in Armavir Province.
Pashinyan recorded a number of problems, including with the new dripping faucets and shower heads, while he toured the school housing 348 students. A video showed him removing a shower head and handing it over to the minister.
"Mrs. Andreasyan, take this and check if the price corresponds to the sum in the technical description!” he added.
"Please watch the video carefully to the end, this instruction was not addressed to me," the minister told reporters on Tuesday.
She refused to answer any other questions.
