Armenian bishop sues Israeli businessman Danny Rothman for defamatory remarks
His Eminence Bishop Koryun Baghdasaryan has filed a lawsuit against Israeli businessman Danny Rothman (Rubenstein) for his recent slanderous and defamatory remarks made against him, the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem reported on Wednesday.
The Patriarchate anticipates that justice will be sought and found by the Israeli courts.
“It is disheartening to witness the spread of misinformation and fabrications against a Bishop of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem. We believe in the power of truth and the resilience of justice, and are confident that the judiciary system will impartially assess the facts related to the defamation of Bishop Koryun and bring to light the falsehoods that have been propagated against His Eminence,” it said in a statement.
