Expert: Efforts underway to drag Iran into war
All efforts are being made to lure Iran into a war, says Varuzhan Geghamyan, an expert on the Middle East and the South Caucasus.
In a social media post on Friday, he referred to the military strikes against multiple Houthi targets in Yemen launched by the U.S. and UK on Thursday.
"The biggest question is whether this will push Iran, which backs the Houthis in Yemen, to get directly involved in the war,” Geghamyan wrote.
"All efforts are underway to drag Iran into a conflict. The next such attempt may be in Syunik," he added.
