Brothers arrested after attack on ambulance crew in Yerevan
Two brothers were arrested after an attack on an ambulance crew in Yerevan last night, police reported.
The incident happened at a building on Gurgen Mahari Street in Yerevan’s Vardashen neighborhood.
Patrol police officers rushed to the scene following a report by the ambulance driver at 3:40am.
The driver said he managed to escape when the patient’s sons, aged 34 and 38, attacked the crew, wielding knives and shouting swear words at them.
The men were arrested and taken to the Erebuni police station.
A criminal probe into the incident is underway.
