Azerbaijan paves the way for fresh aggression against Armenia – Tatoyan Foundation
Azerbaijan has launched two new websites spreading animosity and fake information as part of its aggressive propaganda campaign against Armenia, the Tatoyan Foundation warns.
"A few days ago, the websites "Virtual Armenian Azerbaijan" (qerbiazerbaycan.com) and "Armenian Crimes" (armeniancrimes.com) were launched; the entire Armenia is presented as Azerbaijani. One of the sites is quadrilingual (Azerbaijani, English, Russian, Spanish), and the other is in English and Russian," it said in a statement on Thursday.
"With testimonies and individual stories, an attempt is made to prove that Armenia is a historical Azerbaijani land."
The sections "Armenian Vandalism" and "Resources" include false testimonies about the massacres of Azerbaijanis by Armenians. Armenian churches and monasteries are presented as part of Azerbaijani culture and many other falsehoods.
"Despite the Azerbaijani war crimes against Armenians, from torture and murders to the destruction of cultural monuments, they not only create their non-existent history with huge money and present it to the world by all possible means, but also prepare the ground for aggression and territorial claims against Armenia. It is obvious that all this is happening under the direct sponsorship of the Azerbaijani authorities," the Tatoyan Foundation stated.
"Therefore, Azerbaijani peacebuilding is false, it is a veil for the outside world and aims to numb our vigilance. Ignoring Azerbaijani blatant threats, huge finances spent and these policies lead to devastating consequences.
"It is obvious that the Azerbaijani authorities will not "walk" through the "intersection of peace". Their goal is that Armenia disappears from that road."
