Committee for defense of Artsakh people's rights set up in Yerevan
The committee for the defense of the right to collective repatriation of the Artsakh Armenians and their other fundamental rights has been established in Yerevan.
"As per the recommendation of the members of the Committee, the responsibility for overseeing the Committee's activities has been assigned to former Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian," it said in a statement shared by Artsakh Ombudsman Gegham Stepanyan on Facebook late on Thursday.
"The Committee will provide information about the start of its activity, the Committee members, and other details in the coming days.
"We anticipate that individuals, groups, and institutions engaged in activities for the defense of the fundamental rights of the people of Artsakh will coordinate their work with this mandated Committee," reads the statement.
