Foreign Ministry: No meeting of Armenian, Turkish envoys planned yet
No new meeting between the special representatives of Armenia and Turkey has been scheduled yet, the Armenian Foreign Ministry told RFE/L’s Armenian Service on Friday.
Armenian envoy Ruben Rubinyan and his Turkish counterpart Serdar Kilic last held talks aimed at normalizing relations between the two countries in Vienna on 1 June 2022.
At that meeting, the officials agreed to open the land border for third-country citizens as soon as possible. However, no progress has been made on its implementation.
