Azerbaijan returns sheep stolen from Armenian village
Azerbaijani forces have returned the flock of sheep stolen from Aravus, a border village in the Tegh community of Armenia’s Syunik Province.
As many as 270 sheep were reported stolen from the village pasture on Friday.
Tegh community head Davit Ghulunts told Panorama.am that all the sheep were returned to Armenia on Friday evening.
“They were brought back as a result of negotiations,” he said.
Following the incident, the Defense Ministry told Panorama.am that the competent authorities were investigating the circumstances of the sheep crossing into Azerbaijani territory.
