Drivers warned about difficult road conditions in Armenia
The Rescue Service has warned drivers about closed roads and difficult driving conditions in Armenia on Monday morning.
In particular, the roads linking the Amberd high mountain meteorological station to Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province are closed.
The Vardenyats Pass and the roadway running from the town of Kapan to Zanger are closed to trucks and difficult to pass for other vehicles.
The Stepanavan serpentines are difficult for trucks to pass.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi highway connecting Armenia and Russia via Georgia is open to all vehicles.
