MP says Armenian opposition needs to 'open people's eyes'
MP Levon Kocharyan claims the opposition remains committed to its struggle against the current Armenian government .
“I will never put up with the current government’s unacceptable activities,” he told lawmakers on Tuesday.
Kocharyan, who represents the opposition Hayastan faction, highlighted parliamentary activities and regional trips as tools of struggle.
"We need to make things clear to our society, to somewhat convince them and to open people's eyes," the MP added.
He promised to make “every effort" to prevent a change of constitution advanced by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's government.
