Nearly 191 Artsakh blast victims complete first stage of treatment
Four months after the huge fuel depot explosion in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), around 191 victims have completed the first stage of treatment and are now undergoing rehabilitation, the Armenian Health Ministry reports.
The blast that occurred near Stepanakert in late September killed a total of 218 people. 21 people remain missing after the accident, while the bodies of three victims have not yet been identified.
In a statement on Thursday, the ministry said nearly all patients who were discharged from Yerevan’s medical facilities and returned to Armenia after medical treatment abroad continued outpatient rehabilitation.
One patient is currently hospitalized at the National Center for Burns and Dermatology, while seven others continue their treatment abroad.
