The music videos of famous Armenian qanun player Bella Papikyan and world-renowned cellist Stjepan Hauser went viral on social media, collecting hundreds of thousands of views and likes. In thousands of comments, social media users expressed their admiration for the joint performances of an Armenian woman and a Croatian musician entitled "Love Story".

Panorama.am interviewed Bella Papikyan about the cooperation with Hauser and her future plans.

Panorama.am: How did your cooperation with Stjepan Hauser start? I remember that when releasing the first music video, you wrote, "Dreams do come true!"

Bella Papikyan: I was facing a creativity crisis. All artists probably have times when you don't want to do anything, you don't have any motivation. At that time, I told myself: this has to stop, no one will come to help or motivate me, only I can change myself and my thoughts. That's when I found out that Houser was in Dubai. I had long dreamed of playing with him. I never imagined that one day it would come true. I sent him an email for collaboration, noting that the qanun was an exceptional musical instrument and would definitely add a unique tone to his performances. An hour later I received a response; he accepted the proposal after seeing my page and performances. I was jumping for joy and shouting out loud “I did it!”

Panorama.am: Are new performances expected or have all your music videos already been released?

Bella Papikyan: Our videos together have collected the most views on his page, and after such a great response, he offered me to continue the joint performances. So, new videos are coming soon.

Panorama.am: Are there other famous musicians with whom you collaborate?

Bella Papikyan: Not yet, but it will happen very soon.

Panorama.am: Your and Houser's music videos are so passionate. Is a real love story possible in the future?

Bella Papikyan: I am more into separating my personal life from the art. I have a very warm and close relationship with Houser. He is a charming and enthusiastic man full of romance. Everything is possible in life. Maybe you'll witness it, maybe not. Stay tuned for more news.
