
Armenia bids farewell to famous dance choreographer Gagik Ginosyan
Armenians bade a final farewell to renowned dance choreographer Gagik Ginosyan on Friday.
Ginosyan, the founder and artistic director of the Karin Armenian Folk Song and Dance Group, died of a heart attack on Tuesday at the age of 57.
Thousands of people flocked to the Chamber Music House in Yerevan to pay their respects to the artist.
Ginosyan's students performed the Yarkhushta military dance during his farewell ceremony.
The artist will be buried at the Yerablur Military Pantheon in Yerevan.
