Armenian Defense Ministry denies reports about Corners of Glory
The Defense Ministry of Armenia has denied “false” media reports that it has ordered the dismantling of the Corners of Glory in military units.
“In recent days, some media outlets and social media users have been spreading false reports that the Corners of Glory in the military units of the Defense Ministry are allegedly being dismantled, while the photos of hero soldiers are being removed and will no longer be displayed," it said in a statement on Monday.
The ministry explains that the relevant structural unit of the military’s General Staff is carrying out repairs of learning and leisure rooms in all military units, including printed materials, as they wear out over time.
“Efforts are under way to update, repair and replenish printed materials,” the statement said.
