Tatoyan: Armenian soldiers were killed by Azeri forces stationed inside Armenia
The Armenian servicemen who were killed and injured by Azerbaijani forces in Nerkin Hand of Syunik Province early on Tuesday were hit from the Azerbaijani positions stationed inside the invaded territory of Armenia, ex-Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan said.
"Any presence of Azerbaijani troops in the vicinity of any community of Armenia or on the roads between communities is unlawful and criminal," he wrote on Facebook.
"Moreover, here we are talking about the Azerbaijani armed servicemen who invaded Armenia. This brazen Azerbaijani behavior is also a consequence of the fact that the Armenian authorities, for their political interests, have been justifying Azerbaijani crimes and invasions in every possible way, declaring that Azerbaijani servicemen are stationed in their territories.
"The Azerbaijani authorities also took advantage of the opportunity gifted to them, strengthened their positions. In parallel to this, they were making false statements of peace, at the same time deepening Armenian hatred and enmity," Tatoyan claimed.
He published the results of his team's fact-finding missions’ in Nerkin Hand.
