Two members of Yerevan municipal council quit Public Voice faction
Two members of the Yerevan City Council, Anush Khudaverdyan and Anush Ginosyan, have left the Public Voice faction, retaining their seats in the municipal council, Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan announced on Tuesday.
At a meeting of the City Council, he also revealed that Armenak Danielyan and Susanna Melikyan had taken up the vacant seats in the council following the ouster of its two opposition Mother Armenia faction members Narine Hayrapetyan and Sona Aghekyan.
Hayk Marutyan, the leader of the National Progress party who was ousted from the municipal council by the ruling Civil Contract party’s coalition last week, has been replaced by Aram Manukyan.
